Physical mass derived from g/kg/lb/non-fluid oz on the product label or case.

Reusable containers: squirt bottles and several prep tubs are intentionally left pending until their empty assembled weights are measured.

STANDARD

Reliable measurement procedure

  1. Zero the scale and use grams.
  2. For very light packaging, weigh several pieces together and divide by exact count.
  3. For liquid pouches, weigh a full unopened pouch.
  4. For reusable tubs or squirt bottles, weigh empty and assembled exactly as used.
  5. Repeat unusual readings and average when appropriate.
Still pending: reusable squirt bottle and prep-container tares. These do not affect the 47/47 inventory-item completion.
